any body with an 10 inch bar and couple o chains that will fit my echo 3000.. wanta trade for an 14 inch bar and couple o chains,,for the same saw...
got long arms an dont need that bar length in a tree.

well mark they dont look like 10 -12 inch but i cant tell from the picture.. this is intense bar,,and im assuming its[the saw] already drilled for an standard chain adjust.. it looks like it..
with this 30 cc saw it will make an fine limb clipper ,,with 10 inch..
i come off an hung tree today doing with the 295..embarrased my self..
it wasnt but 6-8 ft high where i was standing with it lodged so it wouldnt turn on me..i was cutting some side limbs
off to reduce total wt as it was about 35-40 inch trunck. and just took a bad step... like i say the 10 -12 inch bar will suit better in those situations..nothin hurts but my pride

but thats better than seeing my son do it..there was a lot o power store in that tree. a potential killer.. thanks mark..

I have long arms too, but I've always disliked 14" bars.

It seems like that extra 2" comes in handy on trims, and takedowns.

At least for me. My 200 has plenty of power, so I don't need to increase my torque with a shorter bar.

Never run an Echo, though...

yea ,,like rocky has said before ,,its not the strongest top handled saw .. i would even be willing to make a 10 inch for and poulan xxv work on it.. needs to be 3/8
low pro. face man it aint nothing but a chainsaw clipper set.. but i think thats what id need if i aint taking the 295 up..
plus like as u say it make cut better .. i can get most limbs i run into with 10 inches.. plus shes still set like i was setting my saws when i got the idea that high rpm translated into more power .. [not] so ill set it with a tach once i get the rite bar. thanks everbody..
