trading for milling off cuts

I was talking with 820Wards yesterday and he is making a trade today for his milling off cuts that is unbelieveable. Not quite the same amount of $$ but on par with the fabled $20 090 deal.

No crab fishing today, the skipper couldn't find a deck hand. But I did drop off all my scrap cuttings with the guy who was taking me as his guest on the fishing trip. When I dropped of the cutoffs he had left me a bottle wine and these pedestals he had. His wife has been bugging him to get rid if them. I'm going to use them for supporting logs when I lift them for milling. I just need to make the bases wider and I will be adding some channel with adjustment T-handles as dogs to rotate and lock the logs from rotating while milling. He said where he got them they were throwing 100 of them away.
