Just a couple years in. Got chainsaw certification by TCIA. What are some other training resources? TCIA stuff often far from me in Central Valley CA. Thanks for any help with this.

I’m an ISA member. Will check locally, but haven’t seen much.
All the above! Climbing is what got me interested, but at 42 I know I’m a little old to do that full bore. I just love learning about Arboriculture, and I’d like to get certified in any and all the things you mentioned!

See what local Extension offices have. Probably a food source for pest related workshops.
ASCA is the source for consulting info. I haven't gone through their academy, but it sounds pretty significant.

See if you can find someone willing to mentor you. Even a competitor who cares about improving the industry may be willing to take some time...but probably find someone just outside your area that you can drive to, but your markets won't overlap.

Thanks a bunch! Not to come across as a prick, but just curious...if I’m the “owner” of my company, and I order course materials through TCIA, ISA etc, can I earn CEUs and certificates just by filling out the materials and signing off as my own boss? Really, I swear I’m not trying to cheat the system I’m just curious how these online learning opportunities work. I really want to learn and earn CEUs legitimately. Thanks
I've never done the article or book-based CEU things. I've done online webinars that I had to send in for after the fact. Some they submit the CEU's for you. Others, you have to do, but they give a code at the end of the workshop.
I've also gone to meetings that were not approved ahead of time, and I think I just filled out a form and signed. Honor system. So I'd assume those other materials are similar?
