Looking pretty hard at the tree austria saddle. I searched forums and did not see much feedback on it, anybody have experience with it? This is one of 3 on my list, smokejumper, master II, tree austria. Really want a floating bridge though, and butterfly availability is unknown right now.
Thanks,
Gab

try frescoarborist.com also check the saddle X. I know of few who like the Master ll.

B'Ham Versatile and Traverse work well. I may get the bosun chair attachment for my B'fly...that will give excellent versatility..as long as it can be taken on and off easily.

I recently got the Smokejumper and I am very very pleased with it. However, I haven't tried the other saddles on your list so I can't compare. The Butterfly and the TreeAustria both look like really nice saddles, and from what I've heard they get great reviews.

i know the people at proclimber uk rave about the austria, i haven't personally tried it although im gonna have a hang in it at the show the end of this month. only thing that puts me off is that its pink, and it looks a little clumpy

I had the autria and its a fine saddle. I prefer the butterfly though only because its a bit lighter and maybe a bit smaller with webbing.

i tried an austria last week and didn't like it.i found it rubbed on my right hip and the bosun hurt my ar$e.i only used it as my harness was still soaked from the day beforebut soon elected to put it back on after 1/2 and hour

the austria saddle has "D" rings that flop back and forth. Not really a disadvantage.
The B fly has smaller "D" rings that lock back and forth.
The austria is slightly heavier, which may offer more support
the B fly has better hardware attached.
Both have good buckels
Seems like everyone myself included instantly modifiys the B fly attachment strap. Not hard. my first mod. I did myself but now use the ART bridge without the ring.
I instantly cut off the clips on my austria, just made of flimsy metal. Now the straps will take a biner

Have you looked at the Ness saddle?
