Looks like Black Cherry
Burns good after seasoned also makes great furniture, cabinets and trim wood.

Looks like lots of resin in that one. Might be really good in a smoker.

Many uses for that stuff. Good firewood, good smoking wood, pretty grain for woodworking. Nice!

Mix that cherry with birch. Its then called the combustible panty remover

Quite a bit of Black Cherry here in my small locale in Nova Scotia,I've been cutting quite a bit,unmistakable rich cherry odour when freshly cut.
