Tonight I got me the National Wildlife Federation Field Guide To Trees Of North America. It is a nice book and I was wonderinf if any of you have a recomendation. I am a very visual guy so I preffer books with photos better than drawings. This book shows the leave, flower, bark and sometimes the tree complete profile. It does not shows the inside of the tree but I don't think many similar books will do that.
So, let me hear it!
Thanks

Yeah, we kind of need a Tree Slayer's Bible :D

I wish I knew how to draw illustrations. I have several good books desperate to be written!

Check out "National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Trees". It might be similiar to the one that you mentioned, but the clarity and colors are fantastic. Someone really put a lot of time and effort into putting this guide together.
