So I'm ready to pull the trigger and buy a treemotion saddle. On the different reviews I have read, I keep seeing how much everyone loves them, however not until they figured out how it's to be worn, set up, etc. So my question is, what is it I need to know to be pleased with this saddle? I know I will fine tune it to my size and style, but what are the things that make it a great saddle for those that use it?

I bought one, but had to return it because it is only rated for 200lbs or so (100kg). I got a ergavation now. There is like 10 or more places to adjust it. You need to just hang in it and adjust it. There is back adjustments, bridge adjustments.

I have noticed with mine that the back pad feels better a little higher on my back. It feels a little wierd at first but you get used to it. I would say to put the leg straps on snug but you should be able to put 2 fingers in between your leg and the padding. Don't put your leg pads too tight. The small bungie cords that connect the back of the leg pads to the back of the saddle also need to be adjusted. Really, just hang around in it for a while and see what feels good. Try different adjustments and figure out what you like. It is not rocket science, adjust adjust adjust. I will probably never buy an other saddle the rest of my climbing days. Mine fits me like a glove and is the most comfortable saddle I have ever been in. I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs.

Right now I climb in a Petzl Sequoia. I like the movement I get with it, so I know I'll love the treemotion even more. I know I'll have to hang in it and adjust it to my needs. I had just read different reviews on how it should be worn, etc. I just wanted input from the ones that put it through the ringer day in and day out. Thanks for your input.
