I have a tri-color that has not turned pink yet. Size of a beer can at the trunk. Planted 7-16-06. Has only been a bi-colored purple/light green last year. Nursery insist that its is a tri-colored beech. The tag said tri-colored beech. Is it true that the beech takes a few years before she shows her color?
