Was cutting up some 28" maple, 24" hickory, 14" cherry today for axe and tomahawk targets. Cutting round disk. Was using the Poulan 3750 and 330. Could really tell the difference in the windsor full chisel on the 330 compared to the oregon safety chain on the 3750. The 330 had a full rooster and chunks flying, the fresh sharpened oregon safety chain was finer wood chunks like big saw dust almost. Then my friend got out this older Echo CS-452 VL 44.3cc, I think. Man it sounded tough through the muffler and cut great with no bog with its 16" or 18". Didnt check the bar size out to close. Said made in Japan right on it, but was impressed for its size. Was a little heavy though for the cc size. Mikes site said made from 1975 to 1983.

That is a nice saw. I have the same thing in John Deere trim, the 50V.
Good mid range saw with a good bit of grunt for its size.
