Redwoods were botched 2 years ago. One side was left bald and gets a lot of hot summer sun. This caused tree to dry out. That winter we lost a lot of branches, big ones. The following spring the trees were slightly brown with green new growth. Following year had them trimmed again and the work was amateurish and left trees misshapen and heavy in places. Why can I not find a quality company!? I read reviews and ask questions...? I feel the trees may become dangerous but removal was upwards of 10k! I want to keep them because they are beautiful historic trees that provide shade and keep my cooling costs down. If we do decide to let them go is there any value in the trees? Can we sell the wood to recoup some of the cost? Can anyone recommend an honest, good company? Located in northern California/ central valley. Thank you
Pics aren't great, sorry.
#1 branches that fell
#2 overall shape from front
#3 heavy hanging branches after being trimmed. (I was told they couldn't reach to trim these)
#4 bald patches in full sun
