No offense...

But some people would question the legitmacy of a business with a hotmail address.

Thank you Dan,
I tried to contact you through the member list as I know
you are not far away, I did not see a way to contact you directly.

I was ablel to contact XTREMETREES and he and a couple of others suggested I post, rather that try to contact people
individually in Georgia. I will be in touch.

Why? Members of my family run three different successful businesses. Two of them use hotmail addresses. Hotmaill addresses make a company illegitimate? Is this just because it is free?

Maybe he should have had XT post the info for him.

"hey call my buddy to see if he can get you a good rate on a truck policy"

My interpretation of the policy is that if someone is in direct competition with a paying sponsor, or they are trying to do regular buisness through the site, then Darin wants then to poney up.

I'll leave it up to Darin to kill this one. Who knows, if it stays maybe BH will make enough that he will do some advertising here. Seems like there are a few fellows from GA here.

Now all he has to do is start talking tree stuf to legitimize himself;)

BH, what would you have to do to be able to write policies throughout the US. Is this feasable for you?

love
nick

If I have to explain it, you wouldn't understand.

Nick, agents are only licensed to write in one state. I am in
Atlanta, that is why I appealed to everyone in Georgia. I have
people insured all the way down in Savanah, at the coast.
The only exception to this is when an agent is close to a state
line, then they could possibley become licensed to write
within certain counties or territories in the neighboring state , within a close proximity of their home state.

Netree, I did not use my business e-mail as we are under
strict criteria as to our incomming e-mails from corporate. Once we gain a client we can offer that e-mail address. That is why I offered the older e-mail address.

Agents can write in any state that they get licensed in. Typically all you do is sit for the exam and pass it to become licensed. Of course there would have to be enough business potential to warrant the expenditure of time and money to go through the procedure. To meet my clients needs I was able to write in Mass, NH and CT.
No guys, I can't save anybody any money as I gave up that gig years ago.;)

Yep Newfie, most tree guys are former insurance salesmen.
See, we tree guys need lots of insurance, so we have contact with all these insurance guys. Once they see our lavish lifestyles, fancy digs, and laid back attitudes, they cross over to tree work.

Not Rocky though, he was a postal worker.

Hey BH there's a demand here in Canada for lower rates so comemon up! You need to provide cheap liability for tree work also if you want to sell us on truck insurance so get back to us on that.

Yes Dan BH called me as well and I was impressed with how much he has saved a hard working Georgian in Insurance.

I'm glad ya posted BH and pay attention if your climbing. The injury rate is much higher for part time treemen than it is for us full timers. What good is a hard earned buck to a dead guy eh?

Ill call ya soon maybe we can work something out!

30% wow!

Treeco, Xtremetrees ----- i appreciate you jumping in. i wans't
feeling very welcome there.

Nick, Silverblue --- i wish i could write insurance in other states.
it would be alot of fun to get to know you guys and help you
out. would also like to see some of Canada. it would also
be fun to get to know the quys i see post from all over the country, Louisiana, the pacific north west, all over.

i have a solution though ------ if everyone would title their trucks in Georgia, i can write it for you. (tried to put a smile face here but could not figure out how)

Treespider, thanks for the email. i went back and edited my
first post
