Hi All
I was recently given a TS760 AV construction saw with low hours on it. The oil tank for a bar is capped off, is it possoble to convert it to a chainsaw? Where could I find the parts? I want to try some milling and that should make an awsome powerhead for it. Thanks.

I've pondered doing this with a TS 350 before now. I have a junk 08S so I should have all the parts needed for the conversion. I'm not sure which chainsaw that one is equivalent to so someone else will have to tell you, but you will need to at least get an oil pump and possibly some work on the carb.

I think the TS760 is based on the 076. Which if you can get it converted would be a great milling saw

I would agree it would make a good milling saw. Most cut-off saws have different port timing = lower HP but high torque over a broad range.

I am sure you would spend more on the conversion than you could buy a decent used saw for. I am sure lots of guys would trade a good chain-saw for a good cut-off saw. I know I would.

How about converting the new 700 or 800 to a saw? Seen the power ratings on these? 98.5cc and 6.7hp. Great TQ
