After lurking for the better part of a year. I finally joined.
I also just finished up modifying my echo CS-400. Standard cat removal and opened the exit as well as deflector.
The limiter tabs whipped me. The wood deck screws I used cored the centers out. So I ended up prying the cover plate out and removing them that way. I have ordered replacements to shave the fins off and put back on.
I read countless threads and watched so many videos. I am not quite sure what the high end sound I should be looking for is but I gave it my best shot.
The chain was a brand new Stihl 63PS, I don’t think I like it as much as the Oregon 91VXL.
Fat ? Lean? Somewhere In between?
