Something that my father and I found to be helpful is to cut off the trunk. If that didn't make the stump settle back in, we would cut off a piece of the trunk and roll it outa the way. Then we would use a high lift jack to flip the stumps **** over. We used it mostly when we just had the RG50. With the RG85 we have done uproots that were over 25 foot high without flipping them.

I've got a buddy with a tow truck, he has pulled over many a stump. I rig ropes and pulleys, and leave a tail end roadside, and he shows up and flips em quick. He is very proficient working with climbers, and (cheap) and has done a lot of different winching jobs for me, as well as others. Lakes, hills, hung leaners, and he loaded 2 white oak verneer logs (1100 BF.) on my dumptruck. with a tow truck!
I got $1 a foot.:D at the mill and got paid to "remove" the logs by another tree company.

sure is cool watching a grinder eat big rootballs, though!!
