Try ebay, I sold my Silvey rsII not long ago and opted for the swing arm. I feel that is the unit of choice for me. once setup a nun could work it.

What is it that makes the swing arm more desirable than the RSII? Is your SA modified Mark?

The swing arm is good if you're the type of person that needs to put a little "english" on each tooth, meaning you need more adjustment than what a fixed square grinder offers. I have a Simington swing arm that is a fine grinder but I don't like it all, I prefer the Silvey HDM-4.

Hi JJ, I know what you mean about english. I have an RSII and a Swing Arm but I don`t like to use "english" because it`s too hard to get absolute consistancy. I`ve been thinking lately that I need a Pro Sharp but with buying my ex out, a new truck, some prime hunting land that a couple of friends found for us to buy, saws all over North America, and a few deals with the Devil himself(Marky), I`m getting spread a little thin. I guess it`ll have to wait.

Steve here...
I absolutley love my old swing arm grinder...The english is what it's all about. Getting that grinder dead in in the corner of each and every tooth. I could not get that versatility with my RSII.

Gypo, there`s not one stick of timber on that property, it`s the proximity(across the dirt road) to a couple thousand acres of public access land and several thousand acres of active farms in one of the most heavily deer populated areas(zone 8x) of New York State.

If you are serious about looking for timber in NY, I might know of a few available plots. What species are you looking for, primarily maple and cherry? We have a veneer buyer/broker about seven miles away and I could probably arrange trucking for you, or atleast hook you up with a few friends and you cut your own deal.

Jacob J and I have a tentative deal for his grinder. He doesn't have my money yet, only my word.
