Hello everyone. For my entomology class I am supposed to be reading "A Silent Spring." In reading this book it dawned on me that this book might possibly make a good selling tool for PHC work. I was thinking that for customers / perspective customers with large properties who are interested in a pest management program to hand them a copy of this book for review. Maybe even hand them a quote for both services (chemical / PHC) with the book and tell them you will get the book when you come for the proposal?

When I say "large properties" I am of course talking about high maintenance level properties with highly educated customers, as opposed to people with large properties and very small brains AKA- Rednecks.

Sorry Bobby, I guess I should have been more specific. I meant Estates Vs. rural homes which don't really wanna spend too much on their properties.

Well, I think making your own selling book is smart. Print out those topping pictures, print out your pictures, print out problems or diseases, also before and after if possible. I think even the redneck may be interested. They have a harder time understanding english as apposed to looking at a picture (much more visual). Using something like this improved my selling by over 50%. If you educate your customers or make them feel like a expert, it improves the relationship you have with them. It especially improves confindence in you. I felt like I had to do something different...cause I am reletively young. Many don't take younger people seriously. If you impress them, they may. In my opionion most people run businesses the same. What makes you different? This is what people are looking for. Innovate.
