So was Valsetz owned by Saginaw. My Dad worked for Saginaw out of Brooklyn and he said they moved to Valsetz when the timber ran out. Just wondering how long they existed.

sounds familiar, iknow cobbs& mitchell owend it first can't rember off the top of my head who was before boisecascade. they might have ben logging contracors for the mill. i'll do some snoopin around.

I actually don't think that is a building. It looks like a crew bus to me. Used to call them cracker box buses.
The uprooted tree was the spar tree and the part on the truck was the loading boom that would have been hung on the spar tree. I'd say it was on a landing and not a reload so unlikely there would be buildings around.
