We are thinking of purchasing the 1250 from a friend of ours. We currently own a Morbark chipper. The blades on the Morbark have a 25 degree angle cutting edge while the Vermeer has a 40 degree angle cutting edge. Would it be disasterous if we took the Vermeer and put a 25 degree cutting angle on the blade...our train of thought is that the blades might cut easier and last a little longer. All comments would be appreciated.
