Bandit is originally a manufacturer of chippers, just as vermeer is one of the original producers of stump grinders. We own bandit chippers and vermeer stump grinders, we have demoed the vermeer chippers and the bandit grinders in the past. I truly feel that although bandit makes a superior chipper, they do not make a better stump grinder. I would recommend going with the vermeer stump grinder, we have never had a problem with any vermeer stump grinders we have owned over the past 30 years.

Be wary of the bandit,i cant comment on that model but a freind just purchased a big bandit grinder and is far from impressed.
