Hello y'all! Just wondering when you chipper guys had to replace that little wearable piece of rubber/nylon rectangle thing that helps with the forward, neutral and reverse for the feed rollers control bracket. Bought a chipper with low hours but that piece is worn down to the metal! If you remember how many hours you had before replacing that wearable piece, I might be able to tell how many trees actually went through this thing. Just a thought! 2000 hours?

not a good indicator at all.

example: With our machine, the autofeed sensor has not worked in ten years so when chipping bigger wood I use the bar to feed the wood in slowly so that it doesn't stall the engine. which works fine, except it wears down that little piece of nylon pretty fast

now if you can find a 1250 where the autofeed actually works. their nylon pieces probably look brand new lol;)
