I recently saw some vids utilizing a vertical speedline. I got the gist of it, but could someone explain how they do it or even diagram/post vids of how they do it...simpler the better. THanks.

How do you guys keep the bottom (butt) end of the speedline tight? Do you use a porty on the bottom to tighten up the slack on the bottom of the stem as you work your way down? or run line thru mini block and tighten away from the stem...re-tie the knot or what? I've never used one and would like some advice so I've got somewhat of an idea of what works best...

most of the time we use gravity and hope the bounce doesn't destroy anything. I wouldn't put port a wrap at bottom because of the impact that you will from the block coming down.

Interesting video.
