walbro carb problem

My chainsaw is fitted with a walbro wa22 carburetor. The problem is that pressure is returning to fuel tank via the fuel pick up pipe and is causing the saw to stop whilst idling. Have stripped carb and cleaned it but still has not cured problem. Have not fitted a carb kit as everything looked ok. Could the inlet spring go weak and be reducing the pop off pressure. Are there other things that could be causing this problem. Any help appreciated.

Anytime you disassemble a carb, you should replace the gaskets. The old ones rarely seal as good once they've been used initially.
