Wanted: 026 air filter cover and tank vent

Just as the title states, I am looking for a used air filter cover for an 026 and a tank vent as well. I am having a hard time bringing myself to buy a Made in China version from flea bay and would rather support a member here. Thanks in advance,

Let me take a look and see what I have. Do you need the new style or old style? i.e. does yours have a small hole in the top of the tank? Does your carb have the little nozzle on top of it?

Hey, it doesn't look like I have any extra back covers. Thought I did. Hopefully somebody else has one.

Thanks anyways. I will post some pics of what I'm working with. I'm pretty sure its the older model.

The older model will have a tall black piece that goes on a tube that sticks up about 1/4" from the top of the tank and is about 1/4" in diameter. The new style will have a well that sits down in the tank a little with a lip that sticks up and is about 3/4" in diameter.

Yes, definitely have the old model, plastic nipple sticks up out of the tank.

I ordered a tank vent from my local Stihl dealer, even brought the saw in when the 1st one didn't fit. The second one is a no go as well, INCREDIBLE! Here is a pic of what I'm trying to complete.

Yep, that's the old style vent. That looks like you might have the new style air filter. Pull it off and take a picture of the back of it if you can. I'll see if I can find one for you. Nothing else, at least everyone else will know what to look for.

Here are a couple of more pics. I believe that's an MS260 cover. I got it to latch but it is difficult and falls off easily, that's why I lost the tank vent. Heck, I'm not even sure whether or not the carb is from a 260. The saw runs great, I just want a combo of parts that work together as far as the tank vent, air filter, and cover goes. Thanks again guys.
