Thought I would ask first before I gave Madsens a call.

I ran a MS440 today and found that I liked the 3/4 wrap style "west coast" handle bar. I believe it was a factory Stihl piece but at a probably $100 an aftermarket unit will due!

I like the looks of the USA brand bars but I'm open to suggestions.

I've got a USA on my 460 after the factory one got bent, and I've had the full wrap and 3/4 wrap on my 361. They're the only way to go. I'm not sure if Bailey's has the USA handlebars or not. I believe they used to, but now it's Madsen's. I could be wrong.

Here's a thread I started on the 361 model, with pics. They're excellent quality-

Bailey's only has half-wrap bars. Dean would be my next choice, then Madsen's. I had a 3/4 wrap USA on my old 066, and liked it better than stock for balance, the bar comes a little further down on the clutch side. Plus, they're cheap.

Pro Safety Handelbars

Bailey's does carry the Pro-Safety line of full wrap handle bars but you have to call and ask for them. They are by far a better quality handle bar then the USA brand. You will also pay a premium price too. About $90 is what I recently payed for a set for my 440. I have them on 4 of my saws and they are great. Also they are bent in a way that lets you get at the bar nuts and adjuster without having to use a special scrench. I believe that they are available for 440 460 and 660 Stihls and 385 395 Huskys.
