I e-mailed Stihl about the 028 that I bought from a member on this site. I wanted to know when the saw was built and if they could send me a manual. They forwarded me a xerox copy of one. If you don't have any luck with Stihl a second time, let me know and I will copy the one that I have and get it out to you!

I'm in the same boat, I have a 028 wood boss and am wanting a manual for it. I sent away and got the one from stihl but it is a photocopy and there are spots in it that are hard to read and the photo's cant be understood. I tried for the one on ebay but didn't get it. So if anyone has one for the woodboss I would like to get an original. Thanks.
