From what I can find is that warpspeed bridges have a short splice with a brummel so I don't think that's what I'm feeling. Does it feel bumpy because the core is 12 strand?

Thanks lol. I actually came across a guy with an old saddle with a warp speed bridge and it had the same lumps in it. He said its the splice that I was feeling and said its good to go. I still didn't feel comfortable plus I had issues with my biners getting stuck on the rubber bumpers and rubbing on the whipping so I took it off and made my own bridge with some 16 strand fire. I just tied it to the rings and what a difference it made. Nothing to get stuck on, biners free moving and I can twist and move around with no worries.

I got the plates for the liger but I didn't like how high it pulled the leg straps up on my thigh so I put the rings back on and tied to that. Maybe ill give it another shot next time I replace the bridge.

There is nothing wrong with your warpspeed bridge - they all "herniate" like that.

You could run a micropulley or ring on your bridge for a better feel.

A warpspeed bridge is a good stout bridge - not to be confused with the 2nd (?) generation Cougar bridges which were recalled.

I do like the idea of a webbing bridge because you can fully inspect it for safety. But, wouldn't it be really fast to cut through? A piece of rope or spliced warpspeed, etc you can't see what's going on inside..

Be careful with your experimenting, however, I think there was a guy a while back who was using a piece of bee-line (friction hitch / split tail cord) as a bridge and it just broke, because it was not designed for that application at all whatsoever.
