Was there ever a recall on the John Deere 55v

Does anyone know if there was ever a recall on the John Deere 55v like the one on the Echo CS-550VL.

I'm pretty sure it was the Echo 500vl that had the recall. I don't remember anything about a 550 vl having a recall

The only recall I could find was for theflywheel on the 500VL.

A 55 deere isn't a 550 echo, it's either a 500 or a 510, I just forget.

500 I think, I should know, I have one, but my memory ain't that good. There was a thread about this a while back, and it seems to me that Fish had something to do with it.

Sorry I meant cs-500vl and that is the model that the 55v was based on so I would think that that would have a recall too strange.
Maybe they fixed the problem before they built the 55v.

I can't remember all the specifics, but I was told when the John Deeres were made, they were later serial numbers than the Echo's that were recalled.View attachment 192496

Thanks for all the info guys I love the saw but if is dangerous to use I got kind of worried. I have no health insurance that would suck to lose a couple fingers.
