Wayne wood chipper starter

No one told me Laurel Leaf Willow would make my acreage snow every year, so now they need to be pruned down. Anyone have knowledge of a starter for my Wayne drum chipper. Has a 318 dodge, but no crank. It has a long industrial like starter now, that all Bendix workings are internal...Help! ....would really appreciate any advice from the tree growing community....thanks......Dean

Any 318 Dodge starter will fit. Just take old to any parts store.

Yup, good to any good auto parts store and lookup a 75 D100 with a 318.
For that matter you can get one on Ebay for about $40 I would think. Delivered to your door.

You guys are great, and yes, I thought any 318 Dodge starter would bolt right up, but I haven't found one yet that bolts up. Will try a 75 D100. You got to realize that Canadian parts men just aren't as knowledgeable as you USA boys, takes a few trips to get set up properly. Check Ebay. I buy good starters there all the time.
