Weaver Saddle on ebay $66.00! ! !

I found this Weaver climbing saddle on ebay. Right now it's at $66.00 and they claim it's brand new. Looks like it is. I have the exact same one but paid $158.00 locally. I'm not real sure how to add a link for folks to just click on, but this is the web address. . .

Looks like a wanna be tree sitter giving up the cause :laugh:

I got the same weaver saddle at a show for $84 new. I didn't add up the other auction stuff but no way I'd pay that much for used stuff.

You paid almost half what I did. You got a deal! ! If I'm not mistaken the average selling cost in catalogs for that exact saddle is $150. If you can find me an AroborMaster PRO Versatile w/ leg straps for $84, then we'll be talkin'!

I thought that the second post for all the climbing gear would be great for someone just starting to buy everything. The seller put all the retail costs out to the right (looked accurate to me) and it added up to $759. The high bid right now is $330. You could even sell some of the odds and ends you don't need on ebay. Forget about it! I might bid on it just to try out the master II and sell the rest.

Sorry I meant the Weaver saddle, actually I looked at it again and the I've got the one w/ narrow leg straps. The shows usually have some great prices. You never know what someone else did to their equipt. like the biners, eight and ascenders, he might thrown them out of the tree or dropped them on concrete. I dunno I wouldn't buy used stuff like that ...or the rope!

I agree w/ you on that! ! ! Used stuff could be dangerous not knowing what is has been put through. Also I just realized I should have posted this in the Used Gear forum. Sorry folks.
