Hey....I just figured out I have accumulated reputation points. Nice. I never even noticed the comments sent by others until now. I had to go and reread the posts.
Is the proper etiquette to reply or something? If not...thanks everyone...just trying to fill in the blanks when I have something to share. All fun here. I check the forum now before I check my emails. Just to see how people are doing. This week has been action packed

Traditional playing big log houses feuding with the old smoke...always fun even if they don't feud that much anymore
Mtngun chasing the elusive thin kerf with his LP outfitted High Altitude choked saws. He's within range for a shot now.
BobL stuck away from home due to a volcano but still strokin' the laptop in some hotel room or airport.
Sawyer Rob solving word hunger but only during a full moon. That was funny you have to admit.
Brad hunting sawmill history in the forest like some archeologist but way cooler...seems they used to grow sawmills out there...there's enough of them around.
Kickers saws are all back together and he's slaving them as a swing mill this week. What next?
A bunch of new guys joining in the fun always doing interesting things.

Certainly makes me smile when I read about the variety of stuff going on.
Me...milling another maple this weekend (not very exciting)...filling in my pool with a backhoe until then. A Sad day when the pool dies. Many a bikini has entered that pool....I'm pretty sure I checked each and every one. Some were missing some parts but I let them in anyway.

How noble of you... LOL

It was quite a while before I noticed the whole rep thing too.

No,,thank you Andrew !!!!

What I enjoy alot is seeing what others are making,,and the milling section on AS is some of the best people you can find.....I have alot of friends on the CS section,,,but seems like alot of BS at times like what brand is the best,,fastest,,I am always amazed with the race saws,,and how fast they run,,but with what I got,,and kinda work I'm doing with my saws is a diffrent world....Dont get me wrong,,,alot of folks on there is good people too...Here I always loved here is you can ask,and someone will try to help if they are online....Something about the milling section,,,you dont see anyone saying bad about anyone's work,,,seems like there is someone that always wanna lend a helping hand and help a person to learn the next level....Alot of times I always asked, and I always had someone to help,,my work shows their help they gave me....
The tallent on here is amazing...From sheds,,,some people built homes,,,furniture,,and it was all made frm a day in the woods with a mill....Alot of folks dont understand a fulfillment of a man's,,, woman's pride of making something that can decay,,and waste into something that family,,or friends can enjoy from generations on down...
You mentioned alot of friends on here,,,east and west cost to Canada,,to the world down under....Ya, know I enjoy so much of their pics,,cause living in Ky,,,as in your area,,,or or friends far away,,,each place we live in has so much diffrent species of trees,,and land...I been to the PNW alot in the 1990's and it's like a diffrent world.....
I'm glad your enjoyin this...First time I was asking about milling,,someone said first time,,,your hooked...Thats so true if you enjoy working with your hands,,and the beauty of your labor .....
The people endure here as they always have for they understand that God has determined that there is no joy greater than hard work, and that there is no water holier than the sweat off a man's brow.

Yup...the photos are almost as good as visiting some guys place to see what they are up too. I've traveled all over the world with these guys...seeing what it really looks like, guys backyards, their trucks, the trees...Very interesting.

Thanks for doing your part. I'll keep up mine.
