I have a old barn, (turn of the centry) and it needs a coat of paint, but before I paint it there are a few boards that should be replased, and I would like to do it before I paint it.

The whole barn, and my house is made from rough sawn lumber from my woods.

Any of you guys here in the West Michigan area with a mill have any boards laying around? I think they are 1"X10 or 12"

Or I would like to have a direction I could be pointed in, and what kind of price should I expect to pay per board foot?

You might try some of the companies that disassemble barns for the materials.

Couple options...I have a buddy w/ a bandmill, let me check with him see what he's got (what type of wood do you want?). Other option up near stanwood/morley area there are many Amish mills that can do whatever you need.

I dont know what kind of wood it is, I am assuming it is oak.

I do have a lumber mill right around the corner I didnt think of checking with.
