I just picked up this one yesterday and wondering if anyone had any info on it. It is a West Bend Power Bee serial number 1740 and engine model 61006. Any info or help would be appreciated.

Ah yes,ye olde go-kart engine. If I recall correctly they made a 580 and an 820 .During the glory days of 2 cycle kart racing these engines were about the only ones that kept McCulloch from totally dominating the field.
The engine or combination of engines were limited to 16.5 cu inches. Two of those 820 s would be 16.4 or .1 below the max. They had a bunch of low end punch, but the Macs had the rpm .Back in the day I remember some real odd carb set ups on the Westbends.3 carbs,I bet that was a real fun thing to tune.
If you do a google search you could possibly find out more info.I also think parts are still available.

What about this chainsaw, are they rare? What size motor do you think it has? I can post some pics if it helps.

I was not aware that Westbend ever made a chainsaw. The engines were used by several manufacturers.Montgomery-Ward for one.I would imagine it to be considered rare.

Is it for sale if so just tell me your price and we can make arangements Thanks Mike

I will probably sell it, I was going to see if I could get the old girl up and running first. You can pm me if you would like to talk about it Mike. Thanks.
