Is it worth getting stihl lightweight bar with adaptor for husky or just get a husky bar? It looks like I can get a Husqvarna branded Sugi bar for around 125 which seems like a decent deal but I believe a decent amount heavier than the stihl. Looking at 3/8 .50. Thanks

These things are TOUGH! Ive had them in some binds that would have ruined Husky/Oregon bars and after getting unhung, they sprung right back into shape. WELL worth the slightly higher price!
Thanks. Ya not much more money. Think the stihl is a decent amount more.

You can also use a Stihl light bar with an adapter, and a little grinding to lengthen the slot a bit. The Stihl bars are noticeably lighter than the Sugihara or Tsumura reduced weight bars, but they're less expensive, well made and they look good too.
I have some 20" Tsumura lightweights, some 25" Stihl lites, a 24" Oregon? Lite, and a 28" Tsumura lightweight. The Tsumuras FEEL lighter than the Stihls to me but I don't have any equal lengths to weigh. My ONLY complaint about the new 500i is that its a tad nose heavy with the stihl lite bar it came with. I was contemplating getting a Tsumura for it but now you've got me 2nd guessing that idea.
