My specs are pretty straightforward, long burn time, up to 24" box, under $800.

Any deals in Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply, Lowes, etc.?

Everyone is going to recommend an Englander NC30 and that you change your zip code to another store. TSC sells a wonder wood stove that looks like the old Ashley's. My brother has an older Ashley in his house.My father and I both have one in our shops. Seem like decent stoves. You say up to a 24" firebox. Kinda open ended if you ask me. Are you processing to 12"? 16"? 20"? 24"? The Englander NC30 won't take a 2 foot length log.

I suppose I can deal with less than 24".
Link to NC30?

TSC=Tractor supply?

Just a quick look around reveals that all the Home Depot stores are the same price on the 30 right now. In the past it was the Durango Colorado store that had the crazy deals on it. Last spring they were $650 delivered to your door. Everybody that I saw was the standard $899 now...

At $900 the Englander NC30 is still the best stove deal anywhere IMO. Made in the USA to boot. How many things that they sell at Home Depot can you say that about? I wouldn't touch that vogelzang with a 10' pole.

Two good sized splits on a bed of coals last night at 9pm in my NC30 and at 7am the stove was still 300 degrees with a good coal bed.
