I know that mine are going to be higher than most since Rhode Island is home to the worst drivers in the northern hemisphere but I was wondering what you guys pay for full coverage for a truck around 50K in the gvw range of 26000 lbs.

I think I pay around $500 a year for my 05 international chip truck..

I have all my insurance bundle together. I pay around $6000 a year for 1 car, 2 pickups, 1 bucket truck, 1 chip truck, 3 trailers, garage, liability, and $150k in small tools and equipment.

Say what? I pay more than twice that. And this is full coverage? AND liability for tree work? If so I feel cheated. Who by chance do you use?

Lol, he's either grossly mistaken, or the insurance company ####ed up.... Or he has no comp, fire or theft. That's a 50k truck on the books. No way it costs him 500 a year for full coverage.

2002 chevrolet bucket truck is right at $900/yr for me. Going through Progressive commercial. full coverage valued around $35K

I have donegal insurance. They are local. I drive past there office 3 times a week. Tree work is less then half my income so I may get a break. When you start to get as many vehicles on a policy as I have the prices come down. th chio truck is valued on my insurance for 35k

I pay 5 grand a year for my int bucket, F600, F350, wrangler. Plus 500 *2 for my chipper and bobcat. In MA, regd in Cambridge.

I'm paying around 9K a year for my tundra, f350, my international, my UD, my chipper, and a flat bed trailer. Rhode Island is the 3rd worst state for accidents but I don't think I should pay that much more. I should start shopping around.

Have you tried State Farm? They have some very good rates for Commercial Auto.. especially if you use them to insure your personal car, etc.. they have some way of hooking you up with great rates for Commercial trucks 10,000 GVW and heavier.

I have just finished with all this BS. Try to find a Farm Family carrier. I reduced my rates by nearly a grand and have more coverage. I just moved my GL to them and soon my home.
Good Luck!
