What is an echo 290evl worth?

They're nice little saws. I've got one from the mid-80'sand still use it on small stuff.

Nice looking Craftsman 3.7. (1) Why on earth would you want to abandon it and (2) Why does your thread even mention your Echo 290 EVL?
The Echo is worth $40.
If it runs well, I would have to add at least $100 to your figure. Did you leave off the 1? I've already been offered $230 for this Echo 550 EVL that runs very well:
Quite a size difference tho. On another note, I have to John Deere version of your 550, the 55v that I need coil for.

Those saws bring strangely high amounts, so I would not use them as a basis to extrapolate back to the OP's saw. I sold a clean JD version of your saw for over $500 ($600? More? Don't recall now) a few years back. The under-50cc Echos go for peanuts, assuming you can find a buyer.

I have (2) 550EVLs and the John Deere equivilent. Good running saws but a little heavy.
