I've been milling a bit w/ my JD CS 62 (a rebadged Efco ), running a mix about 40:1 (or richer).
And trimming with my $50 MT 3600, which because I'm lazy I put the same mix in.
It was pointed out on another forum that Efco sometimes says use up to 16:1, and further perusal of my MT 3600 manual (after it says for that follow directions on the packagel) says 25:1.
The John Deere just says 50:1.

Any recommendations for the CS62? Richer? Leaner?

I don't want to burn up the CS 62 before a larger saw falls in my lap.

John Deere's manual says to use 50:1 of their blend and 40:1 of any other brand. I have been using the woodland pro synthetic or stihl HP ultra at 50:1 with no problems

My jd manual only states on page 12 to either use Premium Exact Mix or "use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US)" . Both are 50:1.

Have you been milling with your 50:1 mix long?

I cut a lot with the saw, I don't mill. I would check with one of the milling guru's about bumping the mix up for that, I believe it should be richer but not sure. I use full synthetic and I run 50:1 for felling and bucking, 1 year so far no issues knock on wood.
