What rope for unicender ddrt?

My brother gave me his unicender to try out. I've been climbing on arbormaster with a vt hitchclimber setup since I started climbing. The arbormaster seems to be a bit too fat and doesn't run as smooth as a rope should through the uni. Any thoughts on what a good line for the uni ddrt style would be? Heard good things about blaze and rocket line but don't 24 strands pick easily? I like the durability of 16 strand as I never use a friction device unless im pruning which is very rarely. I'm always changing my tie in point too much also to use a friction saver.
