I have been over to Mike Acres site and found some similar but the paint schemes were a bit different. It is a decent size saw, hopefully someone knows!

Yup, it's an S55. The F55 (Farmer) probably wouldn't have the anti-vibe handle, though some did, with an A designation, and most Farmers were all yellow. The other clue is the Semi-Pro lable on the chain cover. Good old saws, I've got a few. The anti-vibe mount where the wrap handle meets the rear handle looks a little soft, very common. If you pick the saw up by the wrap handle and the engine case bottoms, it will give an extra little tingle while cutting.

Thanks for the help guys. I have only had one Partner before and my helper was delimbing(it was a small one) and left it sitting in the middle of the road where the trucks were running and well, it became Mack fodder. I really liked that saw. I still would like to kick his butt but he is alot bigger than me!

Yeah Chris that was the one. It runs pretty good, though the carb needs a kit and the bar is a real dinky for that size saw. I think I will just go thru it and make it one of my firewood saws. It has 135 lbs compression so I will just do a few things to it and see how I like it. Kinda hard to start, I wish it had a compression release, I dont think the rope will have a long life. I'll get her ready to rock in a week or two and report back in. Once again, thanks alot for all the info, us old Homelite guys live in our own world and it is shrinking!
