I need idea of what some you would charge for just mileage and
not the tree work. I have to bid on some parks and need what
to charge for mileage.

Yeah, so far I haven't charged for mileage either. On the other hand, it makes perfect sense to bill for time plus mileage.

If you are already billing for the time on the clock, your mileage charge should be equal to your direct operating expenses: fuel for the truck and maybe a little for brakes and tires. Depreciation, overhead, maintenance, etc, should all be built into your hourly rate.

I'd probably take the fuel prices, divide it by how many miles you get per gallon out of your truck, and then add about 10%. Presto! An answer!
