Hi all new to the forum. i just got a 3120xp for use as a mill. I build guitars and like to take them start to finish. find the tree cut and mill it, dry it and then build somthing with it. I only mill about 300-500 bdft per year so i figured the husky 3120 would be the most ecenomical (and easy to store) package.

my question is this what year is my saw the searial number is 6260009

i have looked on the forum and there seems to be alot of variance. from what i read the saw is either an 1986 (doubtful) a 1996 (my guess) or a 2006

there is a photo below

also any other milling related help or tips would be great.

not sure about a 3120 being economical but you defineatley made sure that you will be able to mill anything in your path!

post some picture of you work ,sounds pretty interesting.
