200 trees? Wow. I'm impressed. :)
I have a Tanaka, CS25. Like it a lot. Run it with a Oregon 91VX Chamfer Chisel chain. Really good "bite" with that chain.
Göran.

If you have 200 trees to do, I would get a 200, new, or even a 201, you will not know the difference, I doubt you are a saw dork like most of us, so for that matter any of the real pro trim saws will serve your purpose.
Do yourself a favor and get used to that saw from the ground, take care to always use the brake when moving in the tree, wear proper PPE, and take your time. If you have never run a top handle in a tree, understand that that little light weight saw will mess you up in a flash because your going to be very tired in short order and it will bounce just as fast and hard as a big saw when you reach out to get the last little limb.

Might be a great........It would be a great idea to buy a small folding hand saw to do small limbs too, almost as fast as the power saw and better for the tree and your face when your tired.

for your needs a 201 will work. More tree work in the future? get a 200t or wait for stihl to put a better climbing saw out............

Brad Snelling modded a new 201 and says it is better than a 200. Stock no, after some actually minor modding, yes.

when the site gets fixed better, you can run a search on "modding the 201".

I don't have either, but I can make a ten buck used poulan tophandle rock....

If you got cash to drop get the stihl 201t and mod it. I did mine my self following directions in the saw forum. It as good or better then the 200t. If your not into modding, the echo 355 is a great saw, I use one at work a lot. If moneys tight you can try one of the cheaper echo top handle saws. They'll do the 200 trees and then some, but they do ware out fast and are kind of gutless(unless modded). But for 200.00 they could be the ticket.
