What's a like new PS-5100s worth?

I'm thinking of selling my like new 5100s. It has 3 tanks of gas through it. It has a 16" .325 20lp 066 bar/chain. I pulled the plug and it's nice and brown. There is almost no dirt on the filter. I have to repair a vehicle so I'm thinking of selling the saw before I get too attached.

At that price, you would be losing 25%, but it would sure sell fast - I think more like $325-350 if it really only has 3 tanks through it. The problem is, you have .325 pitch bar and chain - kind of undesirable on that saw.

I kind of agree..but that's what I run on mine and my 346's.....with the Stihl agressive .325...and 18 inch bars. Mine are modded so can easily handle 3/8th chain..But they are wicked fast with .325.

When I use up the 100 foot roll, I'll prolly switch to .375.

I'm glad you finally got the 5100s. I was beginning to worry the Post Offfice may have lost it. As you can tell, I didn't use the saw enough for it to break in. But it sounded like it had potential.

You sent it late Wed, it arrived early Friday....but I wasn't home to sign for it...that's only a bit over 8 days. No worries, it won't get used except for some timed cut video comparisons....then its off to a saw builder. I've got 3 cube saws galore! Stocking up for the future, when current models will be obsolete thanks to the EPA.
