Found a Mac 99 for sale, looks to be complete but no idea if it runs or the engine is even free. I realize 161 cc's is worth something, but is it a $75 saw or a $400 saw?

Two man, big and yellow.... Sorry about the crappy picture.

I don't follow the two man saws as much as one man, my brother picked up a very nice 99 for $100, more likely $200-$300 if it is running, or has the potential to run with a little work.

I wouldn't go over $200 unless it was in really good shape but I'm not looking for one either.

I :agree2:

But Im also cheap :)

Have to be a IEL or a Titan for I tied up big money in a 2man

without hearing it run maybe worth 200 in parts.

good runner can fetch 5-600

hard to find carby parts and good chain for those.

lots of other parts availible. :)

Lots of times its easier to find another saw than just finding the darn chain.

Oh well, everybody needs a parts saw for the parts saw right? :)

that is true with many old saws.

I watch for 1/2 chain hanging on old beat up homeys, macs and bradleys.

worth much more than the saws are.

here is some new mac 2 man chain that just sold a few weeks back.
very hard to find but this was for the shortest bar. 3/4 pitch and I think it's .074 gauge.

Mac 7-55 wouldnt be to bad with a shorter bar. DA-211 is manageable and a few of the Malls- 11&12 series etc.

But wouldnt try it with the Mall 7, Mercury KB, Bluestreak, or Husky 3120 with 6' bar. lol

$1200- $1000 NOS IN BOX

two man right? yellow and big.

I fixed your post there, Scott

That is more like it.

Ive noticed that in what little old saw literature that Ive seen.

Doesnt matter to me, I know which end does what. :)

I thought it was funny that literature from a major chainsaw manufactorer called the bar a blade, especially because some folks around here get pretty snippy :msp_ohmy: when someone calls the bar a blade.
