Dang it. You had me looking hard at the round "bag" in the center of the photo. I had thought maybe you were climbing a large pine and what I was looking at was fallen pine needles that filled it.

Here I see it's your climbing belt upon closer examination and that's just the ground beneath it! :dizzy:

What is that tightly wrapped coil of small diameter three strand rope for?

In fact, what is that of larger diameter three strand rope for? Surely you're not one of those "old school" climbers that prefer that stuff for a climbing line?

I am just showing off what I have accumulated since I started. It was a photo opportunity with the sun shinning in like that. I have two more bags of rigging stuff but that is the climbing bag.

That is a retrieval rope for water or whatever. I also use it to lower small branches when over a roof or some other hazard. The other is a my 30' lanyard which will get cut shorter as my primary lanyard soon. My primary is getting a little tattered and has a small nick in it from the silky.

The belt is loaded. Don't often climb with all that but prefer to unload what I don't need before a climb as opposed to loading it.

Almost forgot most importantly. The lid.
