Whats the best way to store a saw?

If you were to put a saw away for years and expect it to be serviceable years later, how would you go about cleaning it out?

At wot spray fogging oil directly into carb (no filter)until rpm's drop to low bog and shut down if it hasnt already stalled.

put a 1/2 oz.of stabil in a small amount of gas mix let it run till it dies keep it dry

There are enhanced containers used for storing military weapons. They have a gas treated interior, I have one. They are plastic bags essentially.

Buy some NOS gaskets and preserve them before they get ruined. Some NOS is showing its age soon if not preserved. Those wrappers don't stop everything and they normally look pretty tired.

What would it really take to create these things? Cereal boxes some goo, a steam-roller and a cookie-cutter?
