I cleaned a nice 45 ft orchid with lower dead limbs to elevate and re juvenate the tree...

there was also 2 juviniles growing in well spaced areas with plenty of room to expand and take over the "Domninant" role, just needed the few "potatoe" vines removed(good lookin flowers)to be healthy and vibrant.....

we show up this morning,,,and unh...........

The neighbor must have drank too much wine and hacked the closest tree to him below fence level.........now bear in mind he had to reach over his own bouganvillea hedge which at least 4 feet wide on his side.Couple logs and a big A$$ hole i n his landscape...."Malicious intent to Destroy another persons
property"

Nicest ppl iever worked for,But there will always be that 1 nieghbor.....

I ask again....When does it become vandalism?

Wonder if the neighbors want to move? I hear there is house going up for sale, and I just happen to know who JUST moved in to the neighborhood!!!

Yes it's trespassing but how do you prove it? Try catching the neighbor in conversation with an audiorecorder?

focus on the tree; how do you help it survive the slashing? Pics?

Sounds like wanton destruction of private property. Aside from the value of the plant material he also devalued the property.

One of the legal terms is malicious trespass, you need a lawyer and a client willing to go throught the hassle.

Remidiation is the most important step right now. Take sopme pictures, have the authorites look at it, then try to make the best of the situation.

Sorry no pics been busy....

But the police were called and a report was filed.

As for the future it is out of my hands.

The tree will rebound i belive they are ver resillient...just not goint to grow the same and possibly will be more of a liability in the future.

Just another neighborly dispute that the tree guy get caught in....:chainsawguy:
