And what did you pay for it, if you can remember?

I am interested in adding a sawyers cut resistant jacket to my PPE, and wondering who uses them, and where did they buy it?
Do you wear it in summer too?

I am also interested in getting a radio vest and remote mic as I am sick of having the dang thing on my hips while trying to swing a McLeod or Pulaski,
Any wildland FF or Trail crew or Resource crew members out there? What do you use and where did you get it?

Heard a guy went straight from our annual certification class on Saturday and walk into a grove burned 5 years ago in the Cedar Fire. He went in to saw some demo cuts to finish his quals, and did not look up ONCE!

He was farcking lucky, the instructor was easier on him than his classmates smack down of him! LOL. Seems like only those of us who drop em (trail maint vols are not allowed to fell) look up enough in the woods!

Try gemplers, MSC, Grainger, or maybe Baileys would have what you need. I know Baileys was an easy guess but those other are great. We order thousands of dollars of stuff from MSC and grainger a year at the AF base. They have good bulk prices. OH another might be Galls they too have service orientated stuff.

Labonville or Bailey's. Both site sponsors, both great companies to deal with. I have the green Labonville wrap chaps and love them.

Thanks guys

Thanks to you all Canyon, Festus, and Magnum.

I did not think to try Forestry Supply or MSC.

I did try Gemplers website, their catalog is coming. I did not see the jacket in my Baileys catalog. I guess i will try their website too.

Galls looks like the place for the radio vests we want, but a wildland FF place looks good too. They also have Turnout gear step in bags that will hold a complete saw outfit including helmet.

Better than walking thru the airport with my gear hangin off my pack trailwork style. That gets some funny looks! LOL

Jumper and Chipmonk..

thanks for rhe leads.

Now all I got to do is find a source for Ponderosa and Coulter seedlings from SoCal seeds. LOL
