I have a Woods tsg50 with Sandvik teeth. I did some reading here about sharpening. Not sure where i sharpen. Is it the large flat portion of the tooth or the smaller portion where I would call it the top of the tooth?
Thanks

I went to your website and looked at the teeth. The leading edge in my mind is the large flat face of the carbide. When I read other posts it sounds like you are grinding the top of the tooth where the bevel is. This meets the large flat face making the edge. Not sure?

Ok...you have the old style teeth. Please look at the bottom of the page at the following link:

I carry 2 sizes, 2 1/2" and 2 7/8" and I have many in stock.

You only want to sharpen the carbide part of the front edge of the tooth. If you're good, do the bottom of the carbide and the front of the carbide should help.

Thanks!

The carbide has to protrude the metal part of the tooth. You might have to cut back metal part of the tooth on a angle with a stone wheel, then touch up the carbide tip with a diamond wheel.
