Whisper 12" chipper - weight?

Surely someone besides me must have a 12" Whisper out there (mine is from way back in 1968, Ford 300, 12" drum).

Any guess as to the gross weight? I have a manual for a 1974 model, but no weight is listed.

I have to update my registration and I have no ready access to truck-scales. You know the state likes to take their cut... every last cent.

Thanks guys for your input. I also just received a note from a nice fella inside Altec. He says it's 4000lbs as-shipped, GAWR/GVWR = 5080lbs.
